Turns out I might not need that Absentee Ballot afterall
« on: September 09, 2004, 02:31:04 PM »
So Ive requested my absentee ballot for the general election. I already got my voting ballot for the primary (as if). Turns out I might not be needing that Absentee Ballot afterall. So what do I do? Do I just go and vote in the states if Im there? Do I need to inform my county that I dont need the ballot or that I wont be using it?

Ta,

If you are present in the US to vote, you are allowed to do so and you simply don't turn in the Absentee Ballot.  At least, that's what my instructions tell me - but at the risk of subjecting myself to ridicule - I am a "Florida voter."  ;)

ROFL - Yeah, don't listen to her. She doesn't know what she's doing.  ;) I'd just bring it with you. Give it to the person there and explain it to them. It's not like you can't vote.
