Need your opinions/suggestions on where to live please - family of four!

Hi all - My family and I (3 of us, but will be 4 come January) will be moving to London in February, but my husband will be house hunting in December.  We have some idea of where we would like to live, but I wanted to get your opinions and suggestions as well.  Husband will be working in South Kensington and we have a rental budget of 1500 gbp MAX/month (would prefer lower).  We will need a two double bedroom or 3 bedroom property since we will have two young ones (newborn and 3 yrs). 

What are your recommendations for a family-friendly, safe area with good schools, a reasonable commute to South Kensington, and local amenities (we will not have a car atleast in the beginning)? 

I know this topic has been brought up before, but I really appreciate any information I can get!!  Thank you!

Based on your budget and commuting, look at things on the District and Picadilly Line west in Zone 4 and 5 and maybe the western edges of Zone 3.  Your budget is going to be your most limiting factor.
