London Area Book Club - 10 December 2011 & 14 January 2012
« on: November 14, 2011, 03:17:17 PM »
We are getting organized!   ;D  So for your planning convenience, here are the next couple of dates for the Book Club.  Both meetings will be at 3:00pm at the Cafe Rouge, Victoria Station. (on the second level, or third if you count floors in "American.")

The book for 10 December will be An Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett.

The book for January will be The Hare with Amber Eyes by Edmund de Waal.

Our meetings are very informal, and a great way to while away a dreary winter day!  We are a very friendly group and hope that you will be able to join us.  Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or want a mobile number to call on the day.

Perhaps The Uncommon Reader?  ;)
Am going to try to make the December meeting, tho will have to see if partner isn't working in order to take care of child.
Thanks!

Bumping as a reminder.  The book for this Saturday is really a novella, so there is still time to read it and join us on Saturday.  ;D

Bumping as a reminder for 14 January meeting at 3:00pm at the Cafe Rouge, Victoria Station. (on the second level, or third if you count floors in "American.")  We will be discussing "The Hare with Amber Eyes."

PM me if you want my mobile number for the day.
