American DS games in UK

I was just wondering if I bought a DS game from the USA would it work in a UK DS?

I bought Leggo Harry Potter for US DS in Iceland (they are in the same "region" as uk for dvd's and Wii games and such), and I had no problems with it. That makes me think that you should be ok. Wikipedia agrees with me - look up Nintendo DS and skip to the section titled "Regional Division."
Sometimes I amaze even myself.

My hubby's business is all about selling games & the machines here in the UK an he said that a US bought DS game would work on a UK DS machine.

The games are interchangeable as long as it's not a 3D.
