Evening all,
I received notice this week that I was eligible for 800 pounds for a PPI policy I took out on a loan several years ago.
I currently live in the US with plans to move to the UK next year.
The wording on page 2 of the letter says, "Please note this interest payment is taxable income and needs to be discussed with your tax office or professional advisor to determine if any tax is due"
My question is do I declare this to HMRC or let it go since I am not ordinarily resident in the UK.
