Thank you, Secret Santa, for my delicious Fortnum & Mason treats!  :)

I can confess now that I opened it as soon as I received it - that's just how I roll.  ;)  The little Christmas pudding shaped marzipan candies were lovely & alas - all gone now.  :-[  The fudge is the best fudge I've ever eaten in the UK - I've had to practice extraordinary restraint not to sit down & eat the lot at once, but as I don't think that would be very sensible or healthy for me to do - I've been nibbling at it, although I don't expect it to last long!  ;D

I have no confirmed idea who you might be, Secret Santa.  I am guessing you might be one of our forum members in London - but I cannot narrow it down further than that...  First, because we have quite a few Londoners on here, and second, because I don't know the full list of who all participated in Secret Santa this year.

I am thinking you might be Cheesebiscuit or Courtney or Olive, but you could be someone else entirely!  Or maybe someone who doesn't live in London at all yet sent a London-centric gift (and posted it from WC1) to throw me off the trail.

In any case, it's much appreciated!!!  Thank you so much!  ;D

I'm off into Leeds city centre today to finish some final Christmas shopping bits & to meet a friend for lunch in town.  I'll check back later this afternoon to see how the unwrapping is going & all.  :)

The soap will be a special treat for me to use in our new bathroom and I've longed for some of those silicone cupcake cases for ages! Time to start baking, I think!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!  :-*

Thank you Santa for the handkerchief, pin, and bracelet.  It was so thoughtful of you to think of me this year, I know the elves are very busy!  You didn't give very good clues to your identity though- who are you Santa?!?  ;)

Well, I almost waited the whole time, but I got back from a trip yesterday and I just couldn't handle it anymore.  :P Santa got the nail on the head!  :D Thanks GottaGetToLondon for my Anthony Bourdain Kitchen Confidential book. I've been desperate to read it for ages! :) Also for my Rachael Ray Veg-A-Peel. My love for kitchen gadgetry knows no bounds, and after 2 years of having to use my BFs annoying peeler that I hate, I can finally move on!  :D Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

EEEEEEEE! WARM PURPLE SOCKS-- and lovely soap!

I LOVE THEM. So much that I made that sound at that exact volume when I opened the package!

Where did you get them?
