Aloha!
« on: September 16, 2004, 05:31:27 AM »
Hi! I'm Jen and I'm from Hawai'i. Come November 5th of this year, I'm getting married to an English fella. I've been reading about immigration and the whole process of moving. It's nice to see such a helpful community of people on the net! Just thought I would say hello and continue to lurk about the place gleening information.

Mahalo,
Jen :)

Welcome!!  HI is such a lovely state (been to Kauai and Ohau)--what a difference for you weather wise!!  This is a great place to learn loads about the UK, I'm sure you will find the people to be quite friendly...

Welcome, Jen!  Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! ;D

Yes, you have quite a climate change to deal with.  So did I; I came from Florida.  I hated Florida (just all too hot and humid for me), so I have found the climate change quite refreshing.  ;D
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

Wow! Thanks to you all for the warm welcome and the wishes for the wedding!

It will indeed be quite a change in climate, but I figure he's most likely worth it, ha! I'm planning on walking around wrapped up in my duvet hoping no one will think it's strange.

I have to admit, I will like the break from the heat and humidity, as well, but a visit home every year will be nice to get away from the cold and rain!

THANKS once again, you're all so great!

Jen
