Interview done!
« on: September 17, 2004, 04:04:34 PM »
Hello to all!

We have just come back from London and our interview went great! Our date was September the 15th. I want to thank all of the people on this site that have helped us a long the way!! Don't know how we would have made it with out you!

I do have one question, though, for those of you who have already been through this.  How lond did it take for you to get your actual visa?  I thought they would get it to us within 48 hours, but we are at the end of the second day here and have not seen hide nor hair of it.  I am getting just a tad bit worried.  We are so close to being at the end of this all I think I am on pins and needles waiting for the actual visa to be in my husbands hands.
 :P

Congrats!

We got our visa the next morning. Had to have it sent to the in-laws because we had to go to Heathrow to pick my son up the next day!

Woohooo!!  6:30pm and we have it!  The delivery guy told us that one of the guys called in sick today, that is why things were so late.  We are so relieved I can't believe it!  I know I have not been terrible involved with this forum, but I am so appreciative that you all are here and so very helpful! Thanks so much again!!!!

Wow, so I take it that you no longer get your visa on the same day? Has anything else changed since we DCF'd last year?

Nope, you pay £10 and they mail it to you the next day now.

A belated congrats to you!  We've been busy (going crazy?) moving and are now back in the USA.

When are you heading out?  Keep us posted!
