Got our last shipment today - YEAH!

The impossible has been accomplished!  Within 3 mos - I have given birth to #3 via c-section and moved our household across the pond!  YEAH!

We had almost everything moved from a large US 4 bed house including the large wooden play structure from the back yard and a baby grand piano.

This week we got the last of the stuff into the house via removing the basement window and well grate.  Amazing how poorly large American furniture can fit into British houses.  Funniest story was they were trying to put a 300+ lb gun safe into the basement window - lost control and it they couldn't get it in.  We had the safe stuck in our window for 24 hrs until a safe specialist could get out.  We finally gave up on the TV armoire and had it send to DH office. 

The computers are up and running; the transformers work great for a few minor appliances --- life is good.  Although we have no wardrobes/closets in the master bedroom and no storage in the bathrooms -- I would call these minor inconviences.

Bottom line -- I had 400+ pieces shipped via 2 containers; an overflow shipment; an air freight shipment and mailed 6 boxes --- only broken items were a plate & flower pot in the post!

Didn't have any issues with the mailed items as far as extra fees and they arrived within 4 weeks!

Just wanted to share a success story!
