Well, I think the time may have come to think about shipping my stuff over. I've been here a year, I'm getting married a week from tomorrow - in short it's looking like I'm staying.
But all I have here is what I've been able to take in my giant suitcases each time I go back to Calif. for a visit. And I'm REALLY starting to miss my stuff....
So I've read through a few threads here, but it seems like an awful lot of people have shipped from the East Coast. Anyone have any shippers that they would recommend for the West Coast? Ideally someone in the Bay Area, but I understand that everything may have to go through L.A.
Also, anyone care to share how much this endeavour cost them? I'm looking at a one bedroom apartment worth of furniture (so not a ton - a bed, futon, coffee table, 2 chests of drawers, small table and chairs, and maybe a dozen boxes....)
