I know many of you enjoy Anne Rice's books.  She has recently written a piece on Amazon refuting the bad reviews of Blood Canticle (should be on the first page, near the bottom). 

I can't comment because I've never read any of her books, but thought you guys might like to read her piece.

Oh, boy I just spent 45 minutes slogging through all that and I'm exhausted. Anne Rice's post was...interesting. I stopped reading her at Memnoch. I think that was a good choice.
