For those of you who moved to the UK late in the year, did you file as if you were in the United States or did you file as if you were in the UK.
I'm just wondering...let's say you moved in October, is it OK to file as if you were in the US if there are only a few weeks left in the year?
The US tax year runs from Jan - Dec while in the UK, it's Apr 5 - Apr 6.
