I think I have made the decision never to go into WF again, after being asked to pay £14.99 for FOUR MEASLY SLICES of rare roast beef in WF on Saturday.  They can bite me.

That does sound a bit more expensive than the US. I can usually get a good, filling, nutritious meal for $8-10, which is about what you'd pay for a sandwich or whatever somewhere else. And I'd rather have a stirfry or something from WH with veggies and tofu than a sandwich on white bread with cheese and not many veggies somewhere else (being a vegetarian also makes WH more attractive).

Sadly you'd probably pay £8 for that same tofu stir fry though, which is ridiculous, as you could walk across the road and get something fresh from wagamama for that price, or go to a falafel stand for half of that price :)

ACtually, I'd probably walk down the street a bit (towards the park) and eat at Giraffe instead! :P

I suggest learning how to blend your own. It is super easy to do and you know exactly what goes into it!

Google it and you will find loads of video 'how to's and websites with step by step instructions.

I agree! I make my own rice milk occasionally and it's dead easy.  :)

I've made oat milk before, and it was even easier!  :)

I bought hazelnut and almond milk from Tesco's recently.  You could try shopping online - you might get a bigger inventory than what they have in store.

Really? Like soak them over night and drain the next morning kind of easy? (I guess I could google for myself. :P) I'm just thinking that buying enough almonds would be just as pricey, though. I don't like rice milk and have never tried oat milk.

I will have a look! Good idea. The whole grocery shopping online thing is still odd to me.

Pretty much... oat milk involves some straining and squeezing as well, but still easy.

I'm just happy that I can get the products I am use to from Whole Foods US in the UK.  I too drink unsweetened almond milk so good to know I can get it when I move.
