Check in for US/UK nationals?
« on: August 09, 2012, 04:59:33 PM »
Seems like a silly question, but if you are a dual US/UK national, when you go to Airport Check-in at the UK end, do you show your UK passport (and how do they know that you don't need ESTA?)

If I read your post correctly and you are checking in at the airport for a flight to the US then use your US passport. This is what makes sense to me.

I check in with my US passport as well because you need to enter the US with your US passport and so that is what I use to book the tickets.

Thanks all.

So check in with US passports, show US passport in US when going and leaving.

But then show UK passport when arriving back in the UK?

Sorry - it really has been a while!
