Glasgow Get Together - 25th October

All,

The next UKY Get-Together in Glasgow will be on Thursday, 25th October.

The venue will be The Bon Accord on North St (near Charing Cross) from about 7pm.

Looking forward to seeing a few new faces!

Yeah! I hope to have my spouse visa and move to Glasgow in mid-September so please (provisionally) count me in. It's so nice to know I'll be able to make some American friends so quickly.

I arrived in Glasgow this morning!!! The get together is on my calendar. I'm looking forward to meeting you all (and probably harassing you with a million questions).

Well, I'm a Yes for the Get Together, as I've booked my Life in the UK test for that afternoon. 

Which means not only will I have to be on the mainland, but I'll need a drink (or three). :)

And here I thought a benefit of not being in New York would be to be spared thinking about the fall of my beloved Yankees. Oh well, it's a small price to pay to meet some new people.

Sorry to say that I'm going to have to miss Thursday, too.  I decided we really couldn't afford to be an extra three days away from home, so I cancelled my test and we came back today.

Hope everyone has a great time!  Wish I could meet everyone.  Maybe someday! :)
