London Meetup- 4 November 2012
« on: September 18, 2012, 08:31:29 PM »
It's been a while since anyone has organised a London meetup so I will try and get the ball rolling.

I'm proposing a late lunch gathering at Whole Foods Kensington on a Sunday in October. There is plenty of space upstairs, as well as a huge food selection and it's not as noisy and crowded as a pub, so we can hear ourselves talk. There is a wine bar for those who'd like it and any non drinkers can stick with the juice bar. You can come early and do some browsing/shopping. If you're super shy, you could scope out the group before deciding whether or not to join us. And if you haven't been to Whole Foods yet, or it's been a while, this is a great excuse!

Whole Foods is open from 10-6 on Sundays, so I think a meet time of about 1PM would work.

Anyone interested?  :)

If it's towards the end of October, I might be able to come, too! :)

Heck yes!

I cannot do the weekend of the 28th (MIL's 60th) but any other weekend should work.

I'd like to be included please, if that is OK?

I am in Spain from the 10th till the 17th.

Married 04/13/11, in NYC.
Applied for Spouse Visa the following week, with express service, and I was approved 4 days later!
Arrived in the UK 05/20/11.
I took the stupid LIUK Test Oct. 2012.
We were granted ILR In Person in Croydon on 04/23/13.
Got BRP 2 days later, in mail box - it just appeared.

It's looking like October is pretty busy for this group so let's tentatively say 4 November.
