Miscarriages
« on: September 26, 2012, 09:55:10 PM »
I found out I was pregnant late last month (this was my first pregnancy) and just yesterday early morning I had these horrible cramps, I woke my fiance to have him take me to the hospital in Swindon. I had to do an urine sample and a blood test, then they took me to the early pregnancy ward to do scans and my fiance was with me the whole time, holding my hand when the lady that did the internal scan told me I had a miscarriage. I stayed calm til nightfall and broke down. I was reading the advice and stories from one of the topics that are old and recommended to make a new topic. i sympathize with those who had miscarriages and pray for those who pregnant to give birth to a healthy baby. I won't be try in another three years or so. My wedding is this Friday, so looking forward to that. The people who saw me yesterday were really attentive and sympathetic. They did exam me and did a swap and tomorrow I have to come back for another blood test to see if my hormone levels kicked down. I'm honestly worried if my hormones haven't decreased, what will happen next? Thanks for reading.

I am so sorry hun- I can't imagine what you are going through.
We stole countries with the cunning use of flags. Just sail around the world and stick a flag in. "I claim India for Britain!" They're going "You can't claim us, we live here! Five hundred million of us!" "Do you have a flag …? "What? We don't need a flag, this is our home, you bastards" "No flag, No Country, You can't have one! Those are the rules... that I just made up!...and I'm backing it up with this gun, that was lent to me from the National Rifle Association."

I am so sorry for your loss.  My best advice is to get on with your life and wedding right now, and when you feel ready, try again! I had a traumatic miscarriage halfway through my pregnancy and waited two months to try and I had a very healthy pregnancy and gave birth almost exactly a year after. Good luck!

So Sorry for your loss. Big Hugs!

They check your hormone levels to see if the miscarriage has completed properly, if there is anything still there the hormone levels will reflect that. In that case they will probably offer you a D&C or medication to remove the remaining tissue.

Try not to worry about what might happen (easier to say then to do, I know) and take it easy.

Thank you all for the comments.

I try not to worry about what might happen, but my fiance who constantly asks every now and then about it. I am trying to take things slow but I keep thinking if I do this chore, will it worsen the cramps and I try not to do a lot around my in-laws house (yeah I live with them and it hasnt been easy). Tonight I have to call the hospital about my hormone levels, so hopefully it decreased. I'm honestly excited about my wedding tomorrow!!!!

I hope your wedding was everything you wanted it to be!

I am so sorry for your loss. I have had 2 miscarriages, so I really feel for you. It's never easy and time is really the only thing that can help, I'm afraid.
How are your hormone levels now?
9/11/2012 Husband mailed his US citizenship application.
9/17/2012 Received e-mail stating his application has been entered into the system.
9/22/2012 Hubby received letter with date for finger printing.
10/12/12 Hubby went for finger printing.
10/26/12 Dh got a letter stating when he should appear for his interview and test- 11/27/12- just a month away!!!
11/27/12 We went to dh's interview and test- he passed and we went back 4 hours later for the Oath Ceremony! 95 people from 38 countries, really pretty cool!
So he's now a US citizen!!
