Possible double appointment booking
« on: November 16, 2012, 09:18:09 AM »
Last night I did the midnight thing of trying to get my in-person appointment for my FLR(M) at Croydon.  I had tons of errors and website doesn't exist problems, but I kept at it until I finally got an appointment and all was wonderful in the world again.  Initially I was just checking my account on the ukba website and it lists that ONE appointment.  But when I checked my email later, I have two booked appointments apparently (one at 9:50 and the other at 10:40).  I have checked again online and it only lists the one at 9:50.  Has anyone else seen this?

I can't cancel the 10:40 on the website because it doesn't list it.  Should I call the tel number on the email and cancel the 10:40 or is it a bonus because it isn't in my account?

Thanks for the help
SealieP

You can cancel the appointment .Please call that phone number and confirm which date and time is correct for your appointment. And same you can cancel the other one.

I keep trying to call the number on my booking email but after following the phone tree I just get a recording and disconnected.  I have tried a few times and a few different options but they all lead to me getting some message about going to the website and then getting disconnected.

A similar thing happened to me. I called and they were able to confirm the correct appointment (it was NOT the one that as showing on the web site).

I think I called the number on this web page (0870 606 7766):
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/aboutus/contact/applyinginperson/book-appointment/

I REALLY recommend you calling. Do NOT select the option to book an appointment. First select option 4, then select the more ambiguous option about checking the immigration rules, or something along those lines (Option 3 maybe). I called several times, usually around 4pm-4:30pm and it usually took about 10-15min for them to take my call. Be prepared to wait...

Thanks Cuatez, with that selection I was able to finally talk to someone and they cancelled the extra appointment for me.  I was told that if you get the email that means you are confirmed for the appointment even if it doesn't show up on your account on the website.
