Looking for US University Alumni

Apologies for intruding onto this forum, but I am wondering if any of the members on here might be interested in attending a College Fair on behalf of their alma maters.

I am the Head of Careers at Taunton School, and in 2012 we hosted our first College Fair, to great success. We are now working on the 2013 event, which we expect to be bigger and better. We have a range of universities attending, some of whom will be represented by alums, but I am always keen to get a full range to come.

The event is on the 24th April, at Taunton School in Somerset. We do not charge either students or exhibitors - this in entirely a 'public service' which we are offering.

Hi! I won't be able to make it down, but my University has a very active overseas (and alumni!) recruitment network. It's Carleton College. (http://www.carleton.edu/) If you contact their alumni/recruitment offices, I'm sure they would be happy to send out an email to any Carls in the area to see if they could come along. They are very, very friendly! (In the US, we have something called "Minnesota nice"--they are super, super nice and welcoming!)

Yep, I would contact the universities directly as I know my school would only allow me to represent them if they had organized it themselves.

Same here. I went to Brown and I doubt they'd let me just maverick it! But there is a Brown Club of the UK which would probably be able to help you.

I have contacted the admissions offices and also a lot of the UK offices and either I get a 'we don't have anyone willing' or no reply at all.

We already have alums from Harvard, Vanderbilt, Middlebury coming - if anyone is willing to spend an afternoon in Taunton please let me know and I will coordinate between the admissions office and you.
