Hey Guys! I love how good the UK is about labeling foods with allergens! That being said, its not always easy to find foods that taste good when ingredients are substituted... I'm lactose intolerant, and have been trying to find substitutions and new ingredients for recipes. Right now I'm dying for some lactose free ice cream (I actually had a dream where I was eating Bryers lactose free ice cream... sad right?), and I thought I'd share some things I've discovered!
Fast Food:
If you're lactose intolerant fast food over here is a nightmare! But most restaurants have Allergen/Ingredient lists online....

Tesco's also have Swedish Glace which is similar to ice cream, but super sweet... It's not bad, just sweet!
Butter! Pure Sunflower "Butter" is really good. My Husband has switched to it because he doesn't like eating dairy in front of me...You can't bake with it though, it's too much oil.
Morrisons Tikka Masala in the Free From section is FANTASTIC! I've really missed Indian, and it really is tasty!
If anyone else has any suggestions, things they've found that they like, or have any questions, please post!
