Football in the UK
« on: March 22, 2013, 11:15:24 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I was pointed this direction by a new colleague of mine. Some of you may or may not realize Football (yes, gridiron) is played in the UK. I play for a team in the South East, based in Brighton, with a recruiting pool of surrey, Kent and London. We are the Sussex Thunder - newcomer link: http://www.sussexthunder.com [nonactive]

I just wanted to say, if you are missing your football fix since being over in the UK please feel free to get in touch with us, or alternatively on the league website - newcomer link: http://www.bafanl.co.uk [nonactive] . They are always looking for players, coaches, ref's and a host of other staff. Involvement can typically be as little or as much as you like.

Just a thought if you wanted to get involved :) Below is a map of the Adult league teams, but there is also college football - newcomer link: http://www.buafl.net [nonactive]
