Well, she was an American girl, raised on promises.
She couldn't help thinking that there was a little more to life, somewhere else.
After all it was a great big world, with lots of places to run to.
And if she had to die trying she had one little promise she was gonna keep.

Aw!  You and I are puppy soul mates!  Though I think I might slightly prefer the Norfolk terrier, it has floppy ears.

And yes, I believe you can choose the puppy, as long as you choose a British breed  ;D.

That is funny, in that I, too, preferred the Norfolk with its floppy ears to the Norwich, until my little rescue toy poodle/terrier mix got a bad ear infection with her big floppy ears. Then it was pointed ears all the way for me (not that they can't get infections).

I now have a Westie. I think a Norfolk would be a cute addition. I will take one of them, please. :D

Or if all the other immigrants snatch them up, perhaps a Cairn, as I love them too (and used to have one.) :D :D :D

When I was growing up, we had a Silky terrier, and he was the best dog ever, but probably not allowed in the new policy because it's technically an Australian breed.  Ah well.  My mom has Welsh terriers, and they're really good dogs too.  I just love terriers :).
