We have only been up to Edinburgh once and noticed that there were a number of Mexican restaurants (much more than Brum :)).  We tried Miros Cantina Mexicana and thought the food was mighty tasty :)

I recently found some San Marcos brand items in Waitrose. This is not a brand I am familiar with, but they are produced in Mexico and both of the jarred salsas were very nice.  :)

The enchilada sauce from M&S that comes in the enchilada kit that you mix with chicken stock is quiet nice. It's the best pre-packaged sauce mix I have found in my 16yrs living here...and believe me I have tried ALOT over the years.

Best to make your own when in doubt.

the enchilada sauce i was referring to wasn't part of a kit... it was just a glass jar on its own.  Awful.

I love to make tacos at home using the Old El Paso taco seasoning and taco sauces and shells, etc. Are those ready to use seasoning packets available in London? Taco sauces? And taco shells? Thanks !

They are indeed.  :)  DH and I have taco night every so often.

In a pinch, the oven baked crispy chicken fajitas are full of tasty win.
