consular birth abroad appt with older kids?
« on: May 21, 2013, 07:01:24 PM »
we're moving to the UK in August and I am due in Dec with our second child. When the time gets closer and I make the embassy appt, is our older daughter (3yrs old) allowed to come to the appt with us as well? We have no family in the UK to watch her. Since she's a minor I assume it's ok?

Yes-- it's really boring though so bring her stuff to do but electronics aren't allowed in so come prepared with other stuff

I was there last week with my kids (3&7) and they have toys and a soft play area, there were a bunch of kids there and they all played quite nicely together. We were in and out of there in just over an hour.
