Those with whom I am annoyed:
1) At myself or not doing this on time like a reasonable adult!
2) The recession because I could have just sold my house instead of messing around with a rental property!
3) My tax lady for not responding to my email!
4) Myself again for thinking I could skip chasing up the tax lady, and just do it on my own!
5) Everyone who ever added a line of detail, no matter how trivial, to our tax code making it impossible for a regular person to slog through it!**
6) The person at work tomorrow who is going to ask me how it went with my taxes who will then be all smug and British when I explain I couldn't do it on my own.
Seriously, it's the smugness that's going to kill me. Ok, our tax code is too complicated, but we have NASA and Tide and plugs in our bathrooms, so just stuff it!!
**Though I would like to suggest that there now be a form 1044 Schedule E-EZ called, "So you had to move but couldn't afford to sell your house and are now renting it at a slight loss..."
