single parent life?
« on: September 22, 2013, 12:04:19 PM »
Hi,

I don't know how to start this....
I just wonder what it's like to be a single parent with babies if the worst-case scenario happen ....

-With two babies under 3, can't work
-no family or friends in UK that I can turn to...
-no place to stay if the worst was to happen meaning separation.
-little to no money, ( does partner house mortgage/ bank saving have any affect if I were to apply for any sort of help )

How hard is it to be a single mom in UK compare to being a single mom in NYC.
I know it depends on many things but I was just thinking what is better...in terms of government help or any sort of help given just to get back on my feet if it happen to my life...

Aww...  I'm sorry to hear this - I hope things work out however you want them to.

I can't offer specific advice, but there is the charity Gingerbread for Single Parents which is worth checking out and has lots of resources on it

((hugs))
