Virgin Atlantic Pets Scheme
« on: November 25, 2013, 05:52:50 PM »
Hello! I am relocating from the US to England with my husband, who is British, and we are bringing our little scruffy dog with us. We've already booked his flight with Virgin Atlantic- he's on the same flight as us- and I was just wondering if anyone else has used them before.

I guess it's too late since we've booked everything, but I'm hoping to hear some positive reviews or any advice you have when dropping him off.

I moved two cats over three years ago via a pet relo service and in their opinion, Virgin and BA are great with animals.

I have also flown two cats over via Virgin. It was a pretty painless process and they were very helpful every step of the way. They even paged us in the airport to let us know when they had actually been placed on the flight. They were also quick about getting them off the flight and even went as far as giving them fresh water and changing the puppy pad liners at the bottom of the cage just as a courtesy the cats and to us.

Thank you both! That's really good to hear. I actually went to VA cargo today to get a kennel check and the cargo manager was so nice and helpful!
