Tier 5 (GAE)

Hi guys,

I recently completed my postgraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh. I was hoping to find a job and Tier 2 visa, but failed. Now I'm looking into Bunac, AIESEC and other internship opportunities to buy some more time before I'm eligible for the unmarried partners visa. Does anyone have any experience with any of these organisations or success in finding an internship?

I don't know about any other internship programmes, BUNAC only allows you to stay in the UK for 6 months - so if you were to get a BUNAC internship, it would only be a short-term fix, and you would have to leave the UK and return to the US when the 6 months were up.

How much longer do you need to live together in the UK to qualify for the Unmarried Partners visa?
