I haven't received anything else yet since my upgrade. I know it will go faster now at least and that's just what I have to keep telling myself. My anxiety is ridiculous.

Waiting dramatically for a response.

Just a brief complaint - I evidently got outdated advice from my agency about paying for the healthcare surcharge before beginning my visa application, don't do that! It asks in the middle of the online application for you to pay, and there isn't a way to add your IHS number in there so my application is unfinished at the moment.

So I have an e-mail off to UKVI to see what I need to do. Hoping the biometric appointment I wanted won't be gone by the time it's sorted out.

Yes the same here, I couldn't help myself and sent another email to Sheffield home office with copy of the receipt guess it wouldn't hurt... Hopefully we can hear something by the end of this week.

Hey guys this morning I received the "a decision has been made" email!!! So happy but crossing fingers is good news and not a reject letter. Normally how long does it take to be delivered?

Claudia - great news.   Only a handful of nervous days now !   We got the email on a 7/15 and the passport was delivered on 7/17.   We received a second email with the UPS tracking number that we were able to follow through to delivery.

Pandapops - we're thinking about you and hoping you get your email (and passport) very soon.

Hello guys,

This is what I received on my decision email. Not sure how to take it? Does mean that could have been rejected?...

A decision has been made on your UK Visa application.  Your application will be dispatched shortly from the Decision Making Centre in Sheffield, UK.  If anyone contacts you advising that your application is still under consideration or that they can influence the outcome of your application in any way, they cannot - please report any such approach to VisaSheffield@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.

I got the exact same reply, Claudia, and my visa was granted. Try not to worry! As long as you've given them all the correct paperwork, it's overwhelmingly likely to be a yes.

April 2015: married
May 2015: submitted online application, set biometric appointment, realized we needed more time to gather paperwork which would exceed 30 days, freaked out, canceled applications, waited for refunds
June 25: submitted online application again
July 2: attended biometrics
July 6: package mailed to Sheffield with priority
July 8: package delivered to Sheffield
July 10: received acknowledgment email from Sheffield
July 12: received "decision has been made" email from Sheffield
July 15: passport returned by post with 30-day visa

Standard email that everyone gets.  Remember, a quick decision means an approval.  Please try not to worry.

I'm trying to not worry. I upgraded the same day as Claudia ( 15th) . It was early afternoon, so definitely after business hours in the UK. I did email to  the address everyone else used and in the same format. I have not gotten the decision made email yet. I fear it's the size of my stupid documents. It wasn't filled with useless stuff, the bank stuff and proof was massive for proving the self employment income.
I just don't know how long this bit should take now as everyone else seemed to get an answer sooner than this.

pandapops it seems like they are taking about 4 to 4 business days to process the priority you should hear something tomorrow or latest Monday! It looks like all the applications they are getting are all with priority services so that might be delaying our process. Keeping my fingers cross for you! Hoping to get the package tomorrow to check what the decision was
