If I could fly through another airline, I definitely would! Lol but for the price and convenience, I don't mind United at all, they are always really friendly(:
Plus, I'm honestly so wary of trying to navigate through another airport like JFK or any other major airport, I'm so accustomed to Houston lol I'm going to keep searching all over the Internet for good prices, because as always, they vary from departing city and destination... Almost any flight back will be atleast $1000 because no matter what, I have to stop in Houston or Dallas and change planes, and some airlines would require another layover somewhere on the east coast, and honestly that's just too much of a headache for me lol it's just easy to have one layover in a familiar airport with an airline I'm familiar with and that won't cost me much (:

Hey folks, anyone with recent experience with an EEA2 application processing? I'm about to send mine in, however it's my second res card; the current one expires in August, however I'm ineligible for permanent residence due to more than a year in France.  Yes I realise I still have about 4 months before I need to get it renewed, however I plan to travel back to the States in September and don't really want to have to request my passport back if at all possible.

Mrs. Roberts, this is the email I got back.... Still the same standard reply... I don't know how you got a more detailed response :(

"Thank you for your email.

We would advise  that as per our published information , we aim to consider all spouse/marriage/settlement  applications within a 12 week timeframe with those choosing to pay the priority service fee considered ahead of those without .

We will contact you in due course should anything further be required.

Regards"

Thought we would have a decision by now..

Last reply regarding request for an update on status of application (4/15):

Dear sir/madam,

Thank you for your email.

Your application is currently awaiting to be processed. Unfortunately I am unable to give a timescale as to how long this process may take. I would advise not to make travel arrangements during this time.

Kind regards

NMF921, that's awesome! Hope it gets to you soon!!(:

Wnathuj, unfortunately those of us who's applications (non priority) were received 2 weeks ahead of yours are still waiting for ours to be processed, so it looks as if you'll be waiting a bit longer than us... Even more so if they get an increase in priority applications in the meantime...

FutureMrsHandy fingers crossed! I don't know why our emails were different but when I inquired, I asked if there was any information they would be needing from me.

NMF, I'm excited for you!
Wnathuj, I got a response from BB as well! But my visa application was received March 11, non-priority so yeah expect to wait just a bit longer.

That be the one! Lol...
I was super cheeky in my email! I figured if there was any info left out, holding up an answer well then let me know! Lol...
Your response does sound very generic and being that our applications are just a few days apart, maybe they just say that for any general questions? Because you know you qualify, don't worry! It just makes things worse.
