Problem with forms upon arrival
« on: March 10, 2014, 12:47:43 PM »
I paid my vet a good deal of money to sort out my dogs forms.  Then paid the state USDA vet to sign off and recheck it was all ok. They still screwed it up. Said my dogs were microchipped in 2007 and born in 2008.

Luckily my dogs have been to the UK before and I save every bit of paperwork about them, I was able to provide proof they were born before the chip installed. Sounds silly I know.  And luckily DEfRA accepted my papers as my vets office here in the states wasn't open for another 2 hours.  My husband sat in Gatewick Animal Reception for over 4 hours.

Just writing to say to check everything about your travel forms for pets.  I didn't and it nearly cost me having to quarantine my fur babies.
