Americans in Peterborough???

Hi! I have been in the UK for 5 1/2 years now. Am looking to see if there are any fellow Americans around this area. Thank you!

If they approve my Fiance Visa I will be in the East Midlands during the autumn. I will be down in the area of Raunds, Rushden,Wellingborough. I only have one American friend in the UK and she lives in Coventry. We are making some plans to get together and go shopping or out to dinner or lunch. Otherwise I will be on my own. I know Peterborough is about 30-45 min away but if there are others in the area that would be great.

That sounds great. I am actually in Whittlesey, just outside of Peterborough. I have waited too long to try and find other Americans. Look forward to a possible meet up.

I'm in Cambridge and we used to have meet ups in Peterborough.  I could meet up there, but I have a 10 month old so it would need to be child friendly and I know not everyone is into kids.

I will keep checking this thread when I do get to Northants. As far as kids are concerned, about once a month, my friends and I meet up for lunch or breakfast and some do come with kiddos.....one has three and the other has one who is autistic and also is a foster parent to an infant. The others of us do not have children or have grown children. So that doesn't bother me at all
