Hello from Colorado, soon to be in London
« on: April 26, 2015, 09:43:27 PM »
Moving to London from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Huge change but I am originally from South Africa and lived in NYC but still  :o

Moving with my cats and its complete frustration to find a place  ::) ??? :o I did come across this link if it will help benefit anyone else. I am waiting for them to contact me tomorrow, fingers crossed I will be done with my extensive search. Any additional suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Hey!

I haven't seen anyone from Colorado on here, so welcome! I'm from the Western Slope, Grand Junction to be exact. I wish you the best of luck on your visa/moving adventure.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Welcome!  I moved to the UK from Colorado. I lived there for 5 years or so before I moved here.  Good luck with your move!

How did I not know that?

Or did I read that but was too stressed to remember?

WHOO! There are Coloradans on here!

I grew up in Florida but lived in Colorado for a while before moving here.  I love Colorado and really miss it!

Same here!  I grew up primarily in Minnesota, though we lived in Aurora for around two years when I was in middle school. I returned to Colorado and lived in Arvada for 5 years before I moved here. Ten years here, and there are days I still really miss CO.

I lived in MN until I was 8 and then moved to Colorado with my family. We all lived pretty close to each other until I moved over here last year. I miss it too. I lived on the Western Slope in the high desert, so pretty much the opposite of here. haha. Castle Rock is an awesome place, we visited quite a few times when we lived in the Colorado Springs area.
I'm so excited to be going back for a visit in June!
