UK license, where to start?
« on: August 31, 2015, 11:46:22 PM »
I recently applied for my provisional license and want to begin the driving process ASAP. Any recommendations on specific test prep materials? I will be taking an automatic test. Thanks!

Take some lessons.  They'll teach you 'how to pass the test.'

I agree with KFDancer about taking lessons, I honestly don't see how anyone can pass a UK driving test without taking them.  As for the theory and hazard perception test (you take those together, but before the practical, and they are good for 2 years) I highly recommend a test prep dvd like this one:

It's the one my instructor recommended and was great for practicing the hazard perception portion of your theory test.
Here 2 years as of Oct. 1, 2016.

Yeah, I definitely planned on taking lessons. I've heard it's much harder to pass a UK driving test than an American one, so I'm already geared up and will prepare as much as I can. Thank you for the link.
