I almost cried today when I found Skippy peanut butter at Sainsbury's!!!
Has anyone ordered from Skyco?  Any problems?

I have ordered from skyco-- no problems at all. The only thing is I always have a hard time judging the size of the items since it is all metric so sometimes I am disappointed and sometimes I am pleasantly surprised.
All that are finding skippy make me so jealous...I have not found it in any supermarket in this area!! Skyco is a nice big jar though. Their welch's jelly is a bit small..and chocolate chips are a very small bag.

I'd kill or become your slave for that nut roast recipe. ;D

Muwahahahahahaha.

I'll get it for you this weekend. Jon is actually preparing that so I'll have to ask him first.

Jeesh!  You guys are amazing, don't tell Rich about any of this, he would want me to actually cook something!!!!

Good thing we have an invite at our friends for TG!!!!  We might have two actually!

Anything easy to make but impressive?  Just a side dish or two.

okay HELP please!

Tesco apparently is not familiar with the term PECANS or CANNED PUMPKIN.  Suggestions ASAP please??? As I was of course scheduled to be baking pies tonight.

Also, where is the best place to get a Golden Syrup/ Karo's substitute AND a really good, thick Maple Syrup???

I'm in Central London/ North London.

Thank you!

Elizabeth,

Try Selfridges or Harrods.  They've usually got tinned pumpkin there.

Also, if you fancy a trip to Hampstead, the Rosslyn Deli has all sorts of goodies, including pumpkin and karo syrup!

Weird about the pecans though...those aren't usually hard to find.  I'd try another shop if I were you!  :)

Fabulous... I'm not far from Hampstead, and I was toying with the idea of breaking down and going to Harrod's on my lunch tomorrow!

Thank you!
