There should be no need for a lawyer at all unless you believe there are real, serious reasons why you might have your visa refused, such as if you have serious criminal convictions or you have previous bad UK immigration history, such as refused visas, refused entry to the UK, illegal overstaying or illegal working in the UK.

Hi Lunarea - I am also in Florida! Well, at least only for the next day because I'm off to join my fiancé tomorrow in Manchester (thanks to this forum!). It is a big jump from the Florida climate but I don't mind it too much.

I live in the UK but am visiting my family in Clearwater right now.  I cannot fathom why I ever left! We went to the beach yesterday, in February!

Not too far from where I am.   I know the weather will be so much different. .. though every time I've visited my boyfriend the weather has been great. Really eager now to fill out the paperwork,  seeing all the success stories on this forum .... gives me so much hope.

I'm in Clearwater!! :-D I was at the beach on Sunday. I love Florida and will miss my hometown definitely but I feel like the UK is my home now and I cant wait to get back there (despite this glorious day!)
