Provisional driving license
« on: May 06, 2016, 07:53:20 PM »
Hi all,

Quick question, if you are here on a spousal visa, and your visa is in your maiden name, would you apply for the provisional driving licence in that name or the name you are using in the UK with banks etc? i.e. married name.

My visa and passport are in my maiden name and my provisional driving license is in my married name.

You can have it be however you want. If you want to use your married name you just need to send in a copy of your marriage license as proof of the name change. It's no big deal.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.
