FLR (m) document check - a second eye appreciated!
« on: August 04, 2016, 12:45:26 PM »
Hi everyone,
I have my first FLR (m) premium service appointment on Saturday in Liverpool. As most of you that have been through the visa process before, we are VERY NERVOUS that some small detail has been left out from our massive stack of paperwork.

I am currently in the UK from the US on a Tier 4 student visa. I've lived with my sponsor for the last two years (since I moved to the UK) and we were married last month. We are relying on his salary (£18,000) and my academic maintenance grant (£14,000) to meet the income threshold.

If anyone has a free moment to take a look at our document list and make any further suggestions, it would be much appreciated!

- My American birth certificate
- Sponsor's UK birth certificate

Your document list looks good, but you don't need the following:

- My American birth certificate
- Sponsor's UK birth certificate

You also have too many relationship/address documents, you only need 6 in each name, so you can use:

Document 1 (July-Oct):
- lease from July 2014 - July 2015 (joint)

Document 2 (Nov-Feb):
- Council tax bill from Oct 2014 (joint)

Document 3 (Mar-Jun):
- - do you have anything dated around April 2015?
- National insurance letter from April 2015 (sponsor)

Document 4 (Jul-Oct):
- lease from July 2015 - July 2016 (joint)

Document 5 (Nov-Feb):
- NHS letter from December 2015 (applicant)
- National insurance letter from January 2016 (sponsor)

Document 6 (Mar-Jun):
- TV license letter from March 2016 (applicant)
- Home office letter from April 2016 (Sponsor - is this right?)

Document 7 - extra:
- new lease July 2016-2017
