Also from Clearwater, Florida, moved to Liverpool in 2009 and to Greater Manchester in 2014.

Born and bred in Massachusetts (suburb of Boston).  Lived and worked in Cambridge, MA. Took a one year academic (library) post at University of Leeds.  Back to Binghamton, NY and then the fateful step of returning to Leeds (back when it was easy and practically free to get a spouse visa) for just over 20 years.  Family obligations made it necessary to return to Boston but now back in Leeds just over 3 years.

Born in west palm beach, Florisa. Moved to a tiny country town in Tennessee, then back to Florida (Tampa this time).

Moved to Baltimore, MD for college and then slowly made my way back to Tampa after a couple years in Columbia, SC.

Born in Northern California (Woodland, near Davis for those familiar with the area), grew up in Hawaii (Wahiawa, Oahu), then back to California where I moved several times within the state.  I've lived in Maryland (just outside DC), and Illinois (just north of Chicago), but most of my adult life has been in the San Francisco Bay Area.... until the last couple of years anyway. 

I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I moved to Houston when I turned 19 to marry my boyfriend. We divorced and I fell in love with my UK pen pal (we wrote each other weekly for seven years before we met) and moved to Reading to marry him. We lived in Wokingham then Westhoughton, near Bolton. We returned to El Paso for a year, moved to Chicago for two weeks then moved to Austin for two years, then to Atlanta for one year and we are back in Houston and have been for eight years. We will be returning to England indefinitely in 2019, possibly to somewhere in the southwest.

From northern Kentucky (suburb of Cincinnati), as an adult have lived variously in southwest Virginia, Lexington, Kentucky, Madison, Wisconsin, and Luxembourg and now we're in Newcastle! Starting to think about heading back to the States, which is both exciting and sad.

Born and raised in northern Ohio which I still consider "home." Lots of cornfields and wide open spaces. Only moved away once from my small town when I went off to college, which was just over an hour away. Now in the Midlands with my English husband. As someone who has always been a homebody and not *too* much into traveling, I'm probably the least likely person you would think to move abroad

Karlee, I am right there with you! Kansas, USA born and bred (read: corn and wheat fields), I didn't travel the world 'til I met my British husband. We are in the Lake District in Cumbria, and have clocked up travel miles visiting many countries since. Married in 2010 and happily settled.

I'm a 'mover' too... Since moving out of my parents home in 1981, I have moved house 31 times!

Originally from Alabama but now living in Northants nearish the Cambs and Beds border. I've been here 2 years and have not once happened upon another American......I guess there aren't many here in my area (except nearer to the military bases).
