From Santa Barbara, California. Moved to St Andrews 2004, then to Bucks in 2008, then to Sheffield in 2010, then to Essex in 2011, then to North Yorks (York and now nearish Leeds) in 2012. I guess I get restless?I've moved 27 times in the last 14 years. I am never moving again. Ever.

Grew up in Castle Rock, Washington. After college moved to High Wycombe,Bucks for 5 years. Then Newbury,Berks for 2 more. Back to the US for a couple of years. Then back to Croughton in Northamptonshire for 6 months. Then 10 years in Giessen, Germany (lived in 2 different towns). 5 years in Okinawa Japan (3 different places). 7 years back in N Yorkshire (3 different places). 4 years back in the US. Now in year 2 back in Harrogate. I like moving. It's a pain....but I get bored in the same place after a while. My wife is happy where she is....so not likely to move again. I wanted to spend at least a few years in Italy and Iceland before I retired.....never worked out.
