Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around this forum for a while as I go through the process of applying for my visa, and I first of all would like to say thank you (so much!) to those of you making the effort to help out with this complex process.
I finally have a question that I haven't found answered elsewhere.
I'm from a very rural part of the U.S., and my question is: Will I only be offered one location to get my biometrics done after I submit my application, or will I be able to choose anywhere? I know where the closest location is, and it's already about a five hour drive. However, I'd preferably like to go elsewhere, because wherever I do go I will need to make an overnight stay, and it's easier to go to a city where I have friends or family I can crash with for the night.
Essentially, I'm wondering if I need to count on having to go to one set location (and if so, will they assign me the one closest to me, or is that not the criteria?), or will I be able to choose any center I want in the U.S.?
Thank you!
