Well it's taken absolute *ages* but things are finally starting to move a bit with my job hunt in Edinburgh. (For those of you not aware, I'm living in London now and have decided to move up north early next year.)
I started applying for jobs up there mid-October. Here it is late November and they are finally starting to get back to me on those first jobs! (How long does it really take to shortlist?!?! Dear me!)
So unfortunately, they didn't ask me to interview for the first one I applied for but the second one has asked me to come up. Hooray! They've given me a date of 16 Dec, which is bad since I'm actually in the US then...so I've got to call and see if I can change that. And to be honest, I'm not really sure I want this job anyway, but I'm so thrilled that I even got shortlisted! Seems like a good thing.
Anyway, wish me luck! Hopefully some of the others I applied for over the last few weeks will start coming through as well now!
