Costa del Sol or Tunisia?  We've scrapped the skiing idea (Feb is a bad time to go but only break I have) and are thinking more warmth & not quite as expensive (hoping for less than 600 pounds each person)...suggestions are welcomed!

Most of the Costa del Sol is hugely over-run with British tourists clubbing at night and eating full English for breakfast.

I personally would avoid it though there are nice resorts there.

We did Granada which is really nice though no beach there. You can fly to Malaga and then rent a car and drive to Granada.

What about Naples?

Thanks for the ideas...also thinking about just going somewhere that is cool to check out...possibly Marakesh?

I with Balmerhon.
I have travelled lots and been many places in Spain from Bilbao in the north to Huelva in the south.

If you want somewhere warm and not full of ENGLISH lager louts you might try Tarifa, San Roque, Los Barios.......or anywhere in that area.
