Speed camera ticket on US license prior to provisional application

Hi! I unfortunately received a mobile speed camera fine, still am on my US license only, have not applied for my provisional yet. What is my best move? Will it pose a problem with my provisional or future uk license? Can I fight it at all as I haven't yet been required yet to have any training on UK driving?

If your defence when fighting it is "I haven't had any training so I don't know what I am doing " then I would think you won't have much luck. 

You should be offered a speed awareness course and that will make it go away.  No points, no fine.  Just a 5 hour lecture on exactly what the speed limit is in the UK.

Just so long as you are still within your 12 months of entry on your fiancé or spouse visa, you should be fine.  It may affect your insurance rates.

I'd go on and get your provisional ASAP though.  You've been here awhile now haven't you?  It can take many many months to get your full license.
