Because the big Sainsbury's in NW3 has a kosher section (where I buy my kosher dill pickle buckets), I popped into the Waitrose on Finchley Road last night, just to see if they had a similar kosher section and, perhaps, more pickles. They didn't, but they did have Bloom's all-beef kosher hot dogs.

The dogs are apparently also available to order through Ocado: https://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Blooms-Kosher-American-Style-Frankfurters/44435011

No idea if they're any good, but thought I may as well pass on the information that there is yet another option out there (in addition to the many reccs already on this thread).

What?!?! You don't have delicious roast beef sandwiches in central/western MA?!?!?!

Crazy, right? First time I had one I was 19 and I was like "Where have you been all my life?!"

I never know how to describe those types of take out places hahaha I just call them "Roast Beef Food Place" because it's not a deli and it's not just a normal fast food/takeout place. We had one in our town that did this kids meal (that I would order in high school when my parents were out so I had to sort my own food out LOL) that was literally this box that was filled with fries. It had like 3 or 4 chicken fingers and you'd also get a "junior" size roast beef sandwich and a small kid's drink. It only cost like $5 or $6 too and I could never finish all the fries. It was SOO good. The place is still open I think but they changed owners and I don't think they do that amazing box anymore LOL.
My, how time flies....

It's a real sausage brand in Prague, and that's the real logo.  It was on the side of trucks.

That's no excuse. However, it did occur to me after I made that joke that I was, at the time, doing unspeakable things to my latest pickle bucket. So.

Drinking the juice and licking the top clean?  Getting pickle juice in your hair?

Actually ... yes, yes and yes (but by accident).

I have to work outside the flat three whole days this week, so my struggle is real.

Oh my goodness ... this thread has made me think about all the local food I haven't been able to eat in a while, but will surely miss!

I'm hoping these images work ... Buffalo has the wonderful "Beef on Weck"

Ted's hotdogs:

and of course the best wings ever (which I can eat, and will be bringing Frank's hot sauce with me!).

... Can you tell it's dinner time for me?

Glad to hear there are so many hot dog options for holidays to remind me of home! Hopefully some are also GF (they should be, but I never trust the UK to not fill things with bread crumbs). :)

You don't need to bring Frank's hot sauce, you can buy it here at the store! I haven't heard anyone say it's different. You might want to check the ingredient list as I know you have to be particular.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I've used regular and buffalo from Frank's over here and I can confirm that they both taste the same :)
