Not at all. I thought it would be more like a documentary show of what their lives are like now. It's is to a point. Just dive in for an episode and you'll see what I mean.  ;)

I watched the trailer for it as I thought it was a documentary but it seems like it's more a mockumentary

Back from the US and just watched Black Mirror's film - Bandersnatch. It's very dark, as expected from anything Black Mirror does, but was an interesting experience.

It was dark, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I thought
Spoiler: show
the illusion of choice message presented in a package that only gave us the illusion of choice
was very clever.

I had pretty much called what was going to happen about 15 minutes in right before you made the choice to either work on the game in the office or at home.

Spoiler: show
It was when he was showing the idea of the game and they got to the lion guy and it asked if they wanted to run or worship and the programmer said "worship obviously" and he was basically saying "no you can't do that because he's the bad guy!". My exact words to my husband were "I guarantee they have a path they want you to follow and they will either lead you to the answer they want you to pick or it won't make a difference either way". It was later confirmed (in my mind) when the main character was showing a more finished product and he said "oh, I didn't programme that choice yet as it's not the path you're supposed to take" or something to that effect. All the little signs kept pointing back to that.

Thought it was very clever and very well done - very typical Black Mirror. Hope they do more of them!

I just finished She-Ra (revamped) and now I'm watching Voltron (revamped) on Netflix. Both have been incredibly good. I've just been on a cartoon binge after watching all of Castlevania and BoJack Horseman so am trying to fill the time until the next season comes out for those and The Chilling Adventure of Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Not a cartoon but still amazing).

I'm still a kid at heart it seems  :P

BoJack Horseman

It is too dark for me. There should be some ray of hope, a thread of a lifeline.

Have you tried Fullmetal Alchemist?

I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

I've heard the remake of She-Ra was actually quite good and funny.

I tried so hard to like She-Ra but it just didn't happen.

Though I did enjoy the Dragon Prince (by the guys who did avatar) and Hilda was really good too.

The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Bojack Horseman is VERY meta I must admit. Fullmetal Alchemist is an old favorite too but can pull on your heartstrings as well. Not as much as BJH though, haha. If you're interested in something lighter in mood, or comedy wise then I've always loved The IT Crowd or Black Books.:)

I've been thinking about watching the old She-Ra's to give more of a comparison. I feel that way about The Office sometimes. The Dragon Prince was really good!  I found out about it by trying to research if there was going to ever be more Avatar. I'm looking forward to the second season. Hilda looked interesting--I may check into that :)
