Payslip question
« on: August 02, 2017, 07:48:48 AM »
I was curious if we've got anyone who knows about payslip requirements.

My current employer pays us a 'set' monthly salary, what our pay is simply divided by 12.

They then deduct any sick days from said salary without showing the information on our payslip. It just says Salary with the lower amount. They dont even tell you HOW they get that amount per day unless you ask.

Anyone know if they are required to show the deductions for the sick days? I think they are but haven't been able to call Citizen Advice since I work when they're open.

Looks like they're not providing all the information they should.

Quote
Your payslip must show:

your earnings before and after any deductions
the amount of any deductions that may change each time you’re paid, eg tax and National Insurance

I've seen that and similar on several web pages. I've even tried talking to HR/payroll about it, but they don't do anything. It's hard to make sure you're being paid right if they don't give you the correct information.

They've screwed up multiple times.
