Yup, that's where I got the confusing information.
Overseas trained teachers who grew up in America, have to have an FBI check, which for me means having a fingerprint card done here in Canada, and then sending it off to the FBI I order to get the criminal check. I also have to get one from Canada, which is easy.
The way the site reads, I won't have to have that done if I have a BEd. Which I do. BUT, it's from Canada, not the U.K. it could read also that everyone who is qualified in the U.K. has a BEd does not to have this done. Registration is automatic. (For me, the FBI thing is because I grew up in America.) I am qualified in the U.K. By simple registration by virtue of my Canadian credientials.....
I'm trying to see if I can't just register because I have QTS in England, and a BEd.
I guess the question is: does my BEd. Have to have been awarded in England?
I am a U.K. Citizen.
I'll just have to call them. I think that if I get all the documents before I leave life will be easier. I just don't want to go to all that trouble if I don't have to.
Thanks
