Texans Try Chipotle Queso
« on: October 10, 2017, 05:27:06 PM »
This makes me laugh (and I'm not from Texas), but I can see this going down with Americans at a UK Mexican restaurant:
Texans Try Chipotle Queso
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
Work permit (2007) to British Citizen (2014)
You're stuck with me!

My sister sent me a pic of the Chipotle queso last week and she was so disappointed. We're from AZ, so I feel like we know queso too. ;)

Do they all have to call it "Kay-so"? For a Mexican-American from Texas that is freaking annoying!! It's "Keh-soh". Plus, Velveeta turns into concrete within three minutes and Ro-Tel is shite! HEB has their own fake cheese and it's awesome. It takes less than ten minutes to chop onions, garlic, jalapeƱos and tomatoes and fry them until softened to put in melted cheese. You eat that with Texas-shaped tortilla chips also made by HEB. That is the bomb!

HEB are such a good company, aren't they? I don't think I've ever had a bad product from them. They even went and made their own brand of Digestives and Oatmeal Cookies. They're not quite as good as the HobNob but bless them for trying! The Digestive biscuit is much sweeter than the McVities Digestive too which makes for a little bit of an experience.

That didn't look like any queso dip I ever ate.  :o   :-X
