3 questions
« on: October 26, 2017, 08:04:54 PM »
Just finishing the paperwork for FLR(M)......everything should be ok as soon as we go get our photo's taken at ASDA. Should have a list to put here tomorrow for scrutiny.

1. Just double checking.....If I am meeting the financial requirements on just cash savings....all I fill out on page 34 is as Category D-Cash savings? and just ignore everything else?

2. Page 47 asks if I had fingerprints taken on the first visa application....I have no idea. Since all they send back is the passport, I can't remember if I had them taken or not. I just beat the BRP and NHS new rules that I think came in April 2015 (my visa was March 2015). I was just going to put no......

3. Page 53 asks how long I have lived in the UK. Do they want just this time (2 years, 6 months) .....or all the time I have spent here 1980-88, 2004-2011, 2015-2017...16+ years?

Yeah, you answer 7.1 and 7.2 on pages 26 and 27 and then skip to page 34.

I think there may be a mistake on the form where there should be a box to tick for Category D on page 27/28, but they seem to have missed it off!

Yes, you did have fingerprints taken, because you cannot get a visa without having them done (unless you're exempt).

This was your biometrics appointment that you attended in the US before you mailed your documents to Sheffield.

So, you answer as follows:

9.12 - Yes
9.13 - date of your biometrics appointment in the US
9.14 - address of the USCIS Application Support Center where you gave biometrics
9.15 - address of UKVI Sheffield where your visa was processed

I think probably all of the time you've spent here, because then it gives you space to put your absences of over 6 months.

1-Yes.
2-You did have them taken. It was done in the US
3-I'd be inclined to list all the time you spent in the UK, as you have here.

Thanks.

I remember going to some building in Spokane for an official  appointment.....just can't remember what I went there to do. Of course I don't know the date of that appointment, likely early March 2015 (I hope that is ok). I'll have to get online to find the addresses for that office and the Sheffield address....

Do you still have the email confirmation of your appointment?

It’s also worth looking back through your previous posts on the forum as you may have mentioned your biometrics date there (it’s handy when people include all their application-related dates in the signature too, because all the info is right there when it comes to filling out each visa)

Nope.....can't find anything. All I can assume is that since the visa was given 23 March 2015.....I must have went to that office within a couple of weeks before then. Hope it is OK with them since I don't know how to find the exact date.

I just had a quick look through your previous posts on the forum.

Looks like you submitted your online application on March 11th 2015 and then you mailed all the documents on March 17th 2015... so your biometrics would have been sometime between March 12th and March 16th 2015.

You actually typed out most of your biometrics appointment letter in a post, but didn’t include the date of the appointment:

Many thanks....

Where did you find that info? When I typed F4mandolin into search none of this came up. I did think there was very little info under F4mandolin. What's the trick?

So if the date was between 12-16 March....which is about what I thought.....any advice on what to put down?

You click on your username in any of your posts and it takes you to your profile (or you can go to your profile at the top of the page).

On the left hand side of your profile page, underneath your username and avatar, there’s a link that says:
‘Show posts’. Click on that and all your posts show up.

Then you just have to click through the pages of posts to find all the posts you made in a particular month and year.

Got it....thanks. I should have known that...just haven't been using the site that much for a while. I just read through the posts at that time.....didn't see anything. Only thing I can think of is that we got rid of almost everything we owned when we moved back. I think we ended up only shipping about 400lbs total back to the UK......I was burning a lot of old files to clean up our filing cabinet.

Should I guess and put a number in there........like 14 March? Or just leave it as March 2015?

I would give your best estimate - you could always make a note at the side of the page that you can’t remember the exact date but it was between, say, 12-16th March.

Thanks again. I should be able to slap this thing together tomorrow and get a list together for scrutiny. Mine shouldn't be very long since there are no kids involved, or income etc. There was a lot of the application that we left blank since it didn't pertain to us. I think I just need the photo's tomorrow.
